The Santa Monica Police Department is seeking information regarding recent vandalisms to public property.  Several eucalyptus trees have been attacked by an unknown suspect(s) along the park/parking lot area of the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue.   The suspect is sawing into the trunks of the trees and killing them.  The trees must then be removed by city workers.  These crimes have occurred between December 8, 2005 and January 4, 2006.

This crime has caused several trees to be removed and tens of thousands of dollars of city funds have been lost.

The Police Department is seeking any information on the suspects involved in this crime.
