Santa Monica Police have received a
second-hand report regarding two suspicious
women driving a vehicle in the area of 19th
and Carlyle Avenue, and also at 14th
and Marguerita Avenue. On Wednesday, May 23rd
at an undetermined time, the women got out
of their vehicle at the above locations and
approached two different nannies who were
walking their employers’ infant children.
The women offered to sell the nannies
t-shirts and socks. When they were refused,
the women offered to buy the infant children
the nannies were caring for. When they were
again refused, the women drove away.
The suspicious women are described as
Spanish-speaking Latinas having short hair.
They were driving an approximate 1990’s dark
red full-size van.
