On February 13, 2010 at 1:33 a.m. officers responded to the area of 17th and Colorado regarding a fight in progress outside of a “Hip-Hop” party.
Upon arrival, officers observed a suspect approach and fire several shots into a vehicle. The suspect then fled the location. As officers attempted to check on the occupants of the vehicle, the vehicle drove away. Officers located the vehicle a short distance away. There were six victims inside of the vehicle. No victims were struck by bullets from the suspect.
Officers observed the suspect in a vehicle that was attempting to exit a parking lot. As the vehicle approached the officers, the suspect and a passenger exited the vehicle and surrendered to officers. The driver of the vehicle continued to exit the lot and fled the location.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle and the driver a short distance away from the incident.
The suspects, Alex Martin Male Black 19 years old from Compton, Roderick Goldman Male Black 18 years old from Corona and Donte Jackson Male Black 19 years old from Compton were arrested for conspiracy and attempted homicide. Their bail is $500,000.00.
