Bulletin# P-11-006 September 22, 2011
| On September 18, 2011, at approximately 3:46 PM, Santa Monica Police responded to the 1400 block of Berkeley Street regarding a call of a grand theft of an automobile. Upon arrival, officers met with the registered owner, Mr. John Travolta. Mr. Travolta advised officers that he legally parked his brown 1970 Mercedes 280SL convertible in the 1400 block of Berkeley. The vehicle’s top was down and Mr. Travolta had the keys with him. Upon returning to the location approximately ten minutes later, he discovered the vehicle had been stolen.
The vehicle’s license plate is 3RBZ737.
The images in this bulletin depict a vehicle similar to the vehicle that was stolen.
