Police Reports

Obtaining Police Reports

To obtain a police report, you must send a check or money order for the fees listed below payable to City of Santa Monica.  A request form is available online and should be completed, then printed and mailed with the appropriate fees as indicated below.

Crime Report - $1.60 deposit
Accident Report - $2.40 deposit
 
Police reports are $0.80 per page after the first two pages (included with the deposit). If the report is longer than two pages, the Records Section will send you a letter notifying you of the additional costs to obtain the complete report.
