ARMED ROBBERY - SHOTS FIRED

On Saturday, January 27, 2001, at approximately 10:10 a.m., a robbery occurred at the Standard Parking lot booth in the 2000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. The suspect pointed a gun at the victim, the parking lot attendant. The suspect opened the cash register and took an undetermined amount of cash from the register. During the robbery the suspect shot the victim one time and ran away.

The victim ran to a parked ambulance that was parked adjacent to the lot and was transported to St Johns Hospital.

The victim, a fifty-year-old Santa Monica resident is expected to survive his wound.

The suspect is described as a male Black, thin, wearing a blue jacket.
