On Friday, July 18, 2008, at 5:19 a .m.,
officers from the Santa Monica Police
Department responded to the 2300 block of 22nd
Street regarding a report of a residential
robbery that occurred earlier that morning,
at about 3:30 a.m. The elderly victim awoke
to the sound of an intruder who was inside
her residence. The suspect rummaged through
her house and stole several personal items.
Detectives have not verified how the suspect
entered the residence. The victim was not
injured during the robbery.
The suspect is
described as a male, unknown race, medium
height, thin build, wearing dark clothing
with a dark mask covering his face. No
weapon was seen.
