In addition to regular patrol units, the Santa Monica Police Department has a number of specialized units that serve specific needs. From Police Officers on horses in our Mounted Patrol, to our Pico Neighborhood and 3rd Street Promenade Bike Teams, the Santa Monica Police Department specialized units operate to address the various needs of our diverse community.
